As I wrote in my Favorite Books of 2025 post, my intention for this year was to read some classic literature and as my first book, I chose Withering Heights several months ago. I had never read it growing up and you often hear it being “the best love story of all time” or other such things. I chose to read it early in the new year, before I even knew of the new movie that’s out. I’m almost finished and it’s been interesting. I might suggest that something written in 1849 is a little more challenging than something written in the 20th century but it’s all good.
