About

As the saying goes, this blog is for me, not for you. More recently I’ve found myself researching the same thing a couple of times for different occasions and it’s driving me a bit crazy. So, I’m going to try and use this space to write notes to myself on things I think are useful and hopefully, you’ll find some of them useful as well. The main content will be focused on iOS programming, PHP scripting, Physics, and endurance (triathlon) training. However, I can foresee posts leaking into other scientific areas, economics, and even politics. Everyone is starting to gear up for the 2016 US elections and the thing I find most terrifying is the tragic lack of general scientific understanding, not only in our leaders but in our populous. They say more facts and statistics won’t help but that doesn’t mean I can’t try. Finally, I love photography and may post the occasional photo here, although I don’t see this site becoming a “gallery”, as I tend to post to Instagram (and from there, other social media sites, all of which you can find in the upper right-hand corner).

Having said that, here is one of my all-time favourite photos, newly colorized! These were the scientists that created modern Physics.
